What our guests say about our retreats

"I would recommend this retreat endlessly! It’s hard to put into words how profoundly this retreat helped me. Edwina and Kerstin were kind, understanding, and knowledgeable and guided me gently through the process of finding and telling my story. I met incredible people in the group and we all grew a little together. The location is stunning with amazing food and beautiful staff. Whether you have completed a book, or just picking up the pen, this retreat will help you be a better writer and a better human."

-Natasha Cox

"I loved the creative writing prompts best, but every workshop was packed with valuable learning. I absolutely loved the retreat centre – the remoteness, having it all to ourselves, the bungalows, and food were all excellent. I felt cared for and inspired. Yoga and meditation every day set me up to feel relaxed, creative and productive. An awesome retreat that completely exceeded my expectations."

-Fiona Evans

"I had a wonderful time at the Vietnam retreat. Edwina and Kerstin, along with the villa staff, created a warm and safe environment in which we could discuss all aspects of our writing (and eat delicious food). I learnt so much and left with renewed purpose and energy to continue my writing."

-Trish Anderson

"A whole body and mind experience. The very rich spiritual dimension was fantastic."

-Julie Parsons

"I liked the flow of the program. It was a logical progression of topics. Great to have two writers’ personal examples throughout from writing to publishing. Also enjoyed the breathing exercises and calling in creativity."

-Lee Duncan
